Tell the RAMS that the Cap ain't real.
It is absolutely real. Dr. Jones said that it could easily be manipulated, but not that it is not real. You can't simply ignore the salary cap. It is just easy to get around it.

Reminder that Josh McDaniels is the connecting tissue between Gannon and Ossenfort. This could end extremely poorly.
I am trying to be patient but yes, this could end extremely poorly. I can describe the road map to failure.

1 - Hire Petzing as your OC.
2 - Trade Hopkins.
3 - Don't re-sign Murphy and Allen
4 - Don't sign any impact free agents
5 - Pass on Will Anderson and trade down from #3.

The overarching theme here is bypassing opportunities to add top end talent, getting rid of what talent you have, and putting your hopes into a draft and develop plan with mercurial QB on a huge contract.

Maybe Monti can execute the "Patriot way" better than others.

Some good CBs just became available but if you Twitter search "Byron Murphy" you'll see a lot of fans from a lot of different teams hoping to sign him. I'm already wishing we hadn't let him hit the market

My guess is that we do sign CB Rock Ya-Sin. Not sure how anyone feels about that. He fits our spending and has a history with Gannon.
