Stout, the one time I had Primanti's my friend brought it DOWN to me so I had to reheat. I probably should enjoy that fresh off the grill to really get the enjoyment out of it. Good sammich, but won't make me forget Dalessandro's here in the 215 anytime soon.

Went to Dal's on a rec. Man, I really did NOT like that cheesesteak. Grey beef, steamed all to hell, piled mountain high on the griddle. No me gusta. That said, Im so in the minority, I keep trying cheesesteaks, hoping to get one that hits. They have to be so popular for a reason!

And for whatever reason, I cannot swallow sliced mushrooms, black olives or water chestnuts...I literally cannot swallow them...diced is ok, must just be the texture I guess

If you like Italian beef, Luke's of Chicago is the best. Get the beef with a side of gravy and fries, will change your life.

I've always thought Lukes has been better than Portillos, but both experiences have been in AZ. Haven't had Als - should probably get some good ones in Chicago when I visit. Watching The Bear now is inspirational.

I’d say a good chicken parm beats a good Reuben. And a Reuben is my go-to first look for most places.

Portillos > Al's > Luke's.

Propping up an out of state chain restaurant is So Phoenix.

That’s just here in Arizona not including the crap years prior to moving here.
