And we are the Long John Silvers of fine dining establishments.
Dude! I remember when I was in my early teens and they built a brand new Long John Silvers in my hometown. For my poor family growing up it was like going to a fine dining establishment. That and Sizillers!

To this day I still remember how excited my dad was to try LJS for the first time. I also remember ordering the popcorn shrimp. :Dold

I loved the chicken. They closed ours and opened a lousy Captain D’s.

Ah we have a 3rd and 4th entry in the darkside scenarios.

Others did actually want the job but the contract offer was insulting. Well, all these guys have agents that the interviews are booked through and the offer/ask is on the table before any interview. Certain in general if not specifically. This ain't interviewing for assistant manager at Taco Bell. So nah.

And it was already reported they offered Bradley more than the Titans, so obviously money isn't an issue.

What plan do you think they are going to hear with your brand new shiny head coach in the room? I'd love to hear this. "Yeah, so thanks for interviewing. I want to be clear from the off that you're our designated scapegoat, even if you do a good job". I mean what do you think? It's the DC's job in the interview to bring his plan for what he wants to do.

I mean, I can see how you guys might think I defend the Org. But you say some insane crap that needs calling out. Just come on, man.
The fact that you Stan for THIS organization is truly amazing. They haven’t earned even a little benefit of the doubt.

I stan for reasonable takes. That's all.

But this "organisation" is the team I support. If I want to create imaginary scenarios about players, coaches and FO staff to enable me to whine constantly like a teenage girl then I can do that about the Rams, Seahawks and Niners.

I just don't see the point in being CONSTANTLY negative about everything. It's self fulfilling. Especially when the vast majority don't go to games or spend any money to do it (like me).

The guys that go to games, like @Brian in Mesa and others, they have the right to complain as much as they like, they spend their hard earned on it. Yet you will find they are the ones that complain the least, because they are true fans of the team and want them to succeed and see needless forum bitching as the opposite of being a fan.

The rest of us are armchair fans, I can turn off and do something else, it doesn't cost me thousands of dollars a year, it costs me about $150 for a season pass for the whole NFL. I enjoy the games when we play well, it disappoints me when we don't. I will complain about crap play calls or poor play from players in the game threads or after games. I will say if I don't like a FA signing, the decision to cut a player. Real stuff.

I'm not going to invent nonsense conspiracies, or tolerate them without saying anything, when people start inventing that we interviewed 4 DC candidates but really wasn't going to hire any of them because Mike didn't want to burn a million or whatever unrealistic and completely without evidence scenario is made up.

To me, that's not supporting a team. If a Rams or Hawks fan came on here and started chatting crap about the team they would get called out on it. I don't see it any different that it's some guy from Michigan, or Denmark, or Toronto, or the UK that never goes to games and mostly talks the team down.

That's not aimed at everyone here, but there are some that ALL they do is post negative anti Cardinals BS. I think they only come here to blow off steam after a crappy day at work. That's fine, I'm not the forum police, but also don't complain when I counter it. Or do, I don't care, but it costs me nothing to defend the team I support from bad takes, so I will.

Story of my life. Potato tomato.
@jf-08 So I was in Mesa picking something up this weekend and it was lunch time. While I was driving, out of the corner of my eye what do I happen to see. LOL you guessed it:

You must be registered for see images attach

Out of scientific curiosity I did a quick U-Turn to see if this place was truly a fine dining establishment. I order the same thing that I used to 35 years ago, popcorn shrimp and fried clams.

Look at that delicious food. Clearly fine dining quality! When I went to use the restroom I had to get a code for the door. Only the finest of restaurants do that for their customers. The only thing that was fishy about the place was a guy wearing a 49ers Tshirt in line behind me.

Well, that place is pretty close to Main Street and Power. The stretch of Main from Higley to Power is "Fentanyl Alley". There is a detox/rehab right next to that Albertsons. You're lucky you didn't get robbed, so getting to use a bathroom is pretty lux.

You were warned about calling other people's fandom.

Can't survive 35 years without some good. It was the only fast food place my grandma would go.

No skin in the game here but how often are others going to be allowed to crap on his optimism, calling him a “Stan”, or a “mouthpiece for Bidwill, M.” or whatever else?

How is that not questioning another’s fandom?
If people would report these examples, that would be a great help to me and rest of the mods here.

Brit was reported by a number of people this morning.

I don’t read everything that goes on in this board.

So if you think that Brit or anyone else is being picked on report it.

I think that seals it. Everybody loves Long John Silvers but 1 person on this board. I think that somebody needs to apologize to Long Johns....his name rhymes with jf-08 lolol

however, I did love their advertising team and their jingle...
" Long John Siilverrrrs,....seafood shop!"

I'm mostly a lurker nowadays, but he's not wrong. Britcard gets dumped on by several posters who face no consequences for openly mocking him...and it's probably the same people who report him...

Probably the way his comments come across as a bit snarky. There is a nice way to disagree or counterpoint.
