I take pride in being a Cards fan. One of the few teams that is comprised of bandwagon ignorant fans. If the team can't win on the field at least the fans should win in the stands.

I can understand irritated and frustrated.

Why wouldn't he? This team was just on the road in a tough environment last week and were 9 point underdogs. What did they do? They went out and beat the snot out of that team for 3.5 QTRs and the choked at the end but still covering the 9 points. Sounds completely reasonable to me.

Now that just isn't true. We in no way, shape or form 'beat the snot' out of the Vikings. We had a few good breaks that some players did force--which is good--but our offense was useless and we weren't stopping the Vikings, really, at all.

This feels like the good old Cards, doesn't it? Halfway through the season and time to start discussing draft position. Sounds about right.

While I have to hold my nose to disagree on firing Whis at the end of the season, he needs a chance to screw us up next season before getting his walking papers. We did recently sign him to a big extension. I think it's important to evaluate Whis and the FO on the draft and free agency. As far as I'm concerned, after our next loss this week, the Skelton era should begin. We know what we have in Anderson and I fear Max Hall has zero business in the NFL. I am very pissed at Whis for lousy play calling and moreover Effing up the QB position beyond all recognition. He (and possibly some stooges in the FO) ruined this season and maybe this team! It's just too early to fire his ass! He has earned the benefit of another year based on what this team has done the past three years. If this year turns out to be more than the exception, fire him. On the other hand, if we could get "The Jaw" or "Chucky", I might be flexible with this diatribe on when Whis should be shown the door. Don't forget the Bidwells will not be in a hurry to continue paying Whis while he is commentating on FOX.
