ESPN college basketball expert Dick Vitale has filled out his bracket for the NCAA Tournament. Vitale does not predict very many upsets in his March Madness projections.
He predicts that the No. 8 seed Georgia Bulldogs will beat the No. 9 seed Saint Louis Billikens in the first-round of the NCAA Tournament. Vitale has Georgia losing in the second-round to the No. 1 seed Michigan Wolverines, who he predicts will advance all the way to the Elite Eight.
Vitale has Georgia's top rival, the Florida Gators, winning the national championship over the Arizona Wildcats. He predicts that Florida will win back-to-back national championships.
Georgia and Saint Louis is expected to be the highest scoring NCAA Tournament first-round game according to oddsmakers. Georgia and Saint Louis both have top-10 scoring offenses and should play an entertaining, back-and-forth game.
The Georgia versus Saint Louis game features an interesting clash of styles. Georgia is the country's leading scoring fastbreak team, while Saint Louis holds opponents to the lowest field goal percentage in the country while hitting over 40% of their three-point shots.
Georgia plays against Saint Louis in Buffalo, New York, with the first-round contest tipping off at 9:45 p.m. ET after the Michigan-Howard game. The Georgia-Saint Louis game will be televised on CBS.
