Nash was a really good pick at 15All the talk about Kobe brings back memories of sitting on our hands thinking he would fall to us in the draft.
i'm hoping this present plan for basketball purgatory gets an update once it's apparent how far away this team is by mid-season. Right now is the right time to trade him, but with our ishues, that's not gonna happen until it's glaringly obvious.I personally would have just traded Book at this point while he had premium value in order to accelerate the rebuild and get back missing draft picks. This is going to be a weird purgatory phase where it’ll be a fringe play-in team with no lottery pick, and Booker’s value isn’t ever going to increase.
Can’t argue with the prick and ball hog comment.Fair, but I do think he got an egregious amount of support, those teams were loaded inspite of him.
I know a lot of Laker fans who lament that Kobe couldn't get help after 2011, but he couldn't get help because no one wanted to play with him, even he and Pau (while they later became good friends in retirement) fueded.
My main point is that Kobe's mentality was a bigger hindrance than a help, they could have done more if he wasn't a prick and ball hog.
so painfully stupid.Report, Suns and Devin Booker have agreed on a two year, $150 million extension.

Welp. Was hoping he’d at least take less than the full max like Brunson and JJJ.
the suns and devin booker are after thoughts in the NBA at this point.I'm waiting for a follow-up story because this should be big news everywhere but it isn't at the moment.
Just when I was thinking the Suns FO might be turning things around...
if we were still in contention maybe - prolly had to pay extra after trashing the teamWelp. Was hoping he’d at least take less than the full max like Brunson and JJJ.
Thank you Kevin Durant!the suns and devin booker are after thoughts in the NBA at this point.
Booker deserves blame as well.Thank you Kevin Durant!
Hardly news, its been popping up here and there about extension talks, it'll be news once signed

Double whammy of both Al McCoy and Ricky Rubio. Miss them both.A glance back in time. This team loved each other.

Rare air in that series... dude was playing with a mash unit, he also was unreal against the Clippers in the previous round. He may have played the best basketball of his life in that 2023 playoffs, but for a team that was thinned out by trade and injury and had no hope. It's also utterly insane to me that there are a lot who view his performance in that series as a knock on him.
