After reading what Cubs fans have to say about the Dbacks I can't wait for "Webb, a couple of decent relief pitchers and a bunch of scrubs" to rip their hearts out.

But regardless of the outcome "the Cubs are the better team" apparently.

I wish I was back in Phx for this. Playoff baseball is just awesome to be around.

Very few in the national media gives the DBacks a chance. Did any of them really watch this team this year? They are writing them off too quickly IMO, they are a team whose stats don't overwhelm you but have been making timely hits all season.

DBacks in 4.

On the pregame they said the crowd looks split 50/50 between Cubs and D'backs fans. Thats such a shame. Its understandable, but I can't wait for the day that all of the Valley teams are the most popular in their respective sports.

EDIT: Gee, do you have a bigger version of that picture in your sig of Chase Field? It looks like a neat shot.

Apparently Jerry Colangelo is throwing out the first pitch tonight. Way cool.

^WOW. Thats great to hear, maybe that means the new management is patching things up w/ him. And he's going into the Suns Ring of Honor this year too, good for JC.

EDIT: Wow the crowd looks full on TV, I was a bit worried about that. Schulte was saying on the radio that there are a lot of Cubs fans there, but that Dbacks fans far out number them, so thats good.

Nice to see the roof open and a large crowd.

Nice to see the roof open and a large crowd.

Im glad the roof is open, but is it just me or does it seem like the panels have not been open hardly at all this year? I suppose they want to get the most eyes viewing the ads on them, but I like it so much better when the windows are open.

If I had a trillion dollars I'd replace the panels w/ glass that could open, so you'd always have a view of downtown.

Also, that strike 2 call on Clark was awful.

How many of them are cubs fans? sheesh I hate that crap. I just tuned in as Zambrano doubled, so I hope the D-Backs fans are louder.
Not nearly as many as predicted. Its predominantly Dbacks fans

Very impressed with our fans, seems like only 15% of the crowd is cubs fans.
