That's fair, but if you look closely (small sample size) there are two things to consider: 1) some of the throws are from staff guys and not QBs so the quality and placement of the throws is not consistent and 2) it seems that Marv and Wilson run the same routes a bit differently. With the first Marv miss, it's pretty obvious that Marv is trying to simulate an inside move to set up the phantom defender and then cut the route to the sideline. Wilson does NOT do this causing the difference in timing being quicker to the sideline. This is not a hands thing. We just don't know what these receivers are working on, whether it's their steps, route speed and places for acceleration, moves, etc. All I'm saying is that it seems someone is trying to make Marv look bad and they were very selective in the examples they chose.
