Trailing 4-1 in the bottom of the ninth, St. John's Owen Miller drilled a 2-2 pitch into left-center to drive in two runs and cut the Central Mass. deficit to one, but Western Mass. was able to get out of the jam and record a 4-3 win in the Massachusetts Baseball Coaches Association Senior All-Star Game on Monday, June 15 at Shaw Elementary School in Millbury.

Clinton's Brian Silvester was named the Pitcher of the Game for Central Mass, as he struck out three over two shutout innings. Miller singled, doubled and drove in two to earn Offensive Player of the Game honors for Central Mass. Tantasqua's Brady Willits also tripled for Central Mass., which recorded nine hits.
