Thought that most pundits on this Board said that MJH will not only be bigger this year, but will play a bigger role. I didn't see it, and I'm hoping that it was only the first game, and the targets for Trey and Marvin will increase, starting this week. Fingers crossed.

The targets for McBride do not need to increase lol

If anything, we would hope he could spread the ball around a little more IMO

5 catches for 75 yards and a TD. That's not bad, especially compared to his one catch for 4 yards in week one last season.

yeah Marv was much better IMO. The contested deep ball catch, a couple of nice routes where he was open by several yards, and the one from our endzone that Kyler missed that might have gone for 99 yards. Marv wasn't the problem on offense the OL was. We had the one great run by Benson but otherwise the run game other than Kyler was bottled up.

kyzir is gone and simon isn't ready - this position and it's importance was overlooked - but by monti gannon and rallis? monti gets the blame tho - he's the one interviewing linebackers after week 1

Might mean that Simon (concussion) will be out for a while.

Playoff teams don't lose games like this. At home, heavily favored against a bad team.

I know it's all dramatic and everything but this is a must win.
Wholeheartedly agree. And your playoff odds increase to about 75% when you start 2-0. That sounds crazy but it’s true, they can basically punch their ticket for a playoff berth if they beat the Panthers Sunday.

we should see this as a revenge game all week - score to settle reason to get hype
No, this should be a taking care of business game. Go into this game knowing you are better than your opponent. If they need to think of the Panthers as revenge, it's gonna be a long season.

Charmin had six targets and a 21% target share. 0.8 fewer targets than last year, but we passed the ball 31.9 times per game last season and 29 times yesterday.

I like that Marvelous converted 5 of his 6 targets on Sunday.

It's early, but he's off to a good start in improving that awful 52% conversion rate from last year.
