Clearly the mediocre play of the Cards in the Saints game has added to the significance of this game. Oaken1 suggested maybe the Cards held back some stuff in Saints game. I don’t think you can totally discard that possibility. If they did they would surely do the same in this game. I’m working under the assumption they didn’t intentionally do that, so I’m hoping for a much better performance in game 2. Do they have a dominant pass rush? With 2 proven backs do they have a high quality running game? Can the Oline give Murray the time to be effective? Will the Cards find more receivers so they can fracture defenses? This game hopefully will answer those questions. It appears fate has lent a hand and disabled much of the Niners’ offense. The Cards have the opportunity to enhance their position if they’re truly are a playoff team. Hopefully this will be a fun game for Cards’ fans.
