According to online search, he was a WR at Cal, then chose to convert to TE for the draft...went to the combine as a TE, but was undrafted. Was probably a large tweener WR. His 40 is 4.64.

Yeah, basically Daniels doesn't go anywhere with the ball, then he looks also confused in his assignment, blocking, which should be his strenght

Chargers fans online say he was mainly a good blocker. Daniels upgrade acquired. I actually think this might be a sneaky good signing. Kliff has come to love the 2 TE sets and I don't trust that Max will stay healthy the entire season.

He looks pretty lean signing that contract. Maybe he's just freakishly strong. Camp body or depth, not a bad signing.
Not a real prospect. The only year he was targeted more than 20 times he caught less than 50% of the targets. He’s too small to be an impact blockers. Camp body!
