He didn't call him the worst coach in sports history.

He said the job he did in his time in Denver was "one of the worst coaching jobs in the history of the NFL"

Not that it matters but he also apologized after saying he shouldn't have said it

who and when?
Oh please. Stop schilling for the Bidwillians.

Hackett is atrocious on every level and if no one wanted to come here because the owner sucks then the owner needs to look in the fricking mirror and move on.

This is absurd.

Who and when?
You said they had every opportunity to hire a high end OL coach. Who was that high end OL coach.
Not defending Mikey at all.
LaFleur went with a guy very familiar and comfortable for him. Are you mad that he didn't consult you first?

The hilarious thing would be if Hackett came out and said he was going to design an offense to get the best out of Kyler and thinks he can be a top notch QB. Would love to see your reaction.

Certainly this would be a cautionary word if he were a HC candidate. Only marginally useful thinking of OC slot
This nonchalant attitude towards an important coaching position on a team that showed last year the importance of coaching is head scratching.

Its almost like you people didn't see the issues of hiring poor coaches create.

The fact Ralis hasnt been released and the hiring of Hackett shows the Cardinals still haven't learned how to build a winner.

Sad

1. Why is hiring an OC connected to DC?

2. How would you know if they had or hadn't?

this is over the top

Hackett apparently was good enough at OC to get a shot at HC

he wouldnt be the first good coordinator that failed in the top spot

when I list the franchises whose way of operating I want the Cards to more like: LA Rams, SF and Green Bay are on that list. I like that Hackett spent a bunch of time with Green Bay.

Willing to see how it goes. Since ML is calling the plays I’m not too concerned with the OC hire at this point. It’s on ML to show what he has learned from Rams and 49ers offensive philosophy

ML can call the plays and delegate by his staffs strengths for game planning, red zone, 3rd & 4th down, etc.

He's not our HC and also if we win and turn this around, he'll get another shot at HC, even though he's not calling plays, just how it is, I don't think people understand how massive the learning curve is from coordinator to HC, and there really is no training program. A lot of them try to be true to themselves and in the process of that miss something huge and implode, but most coaches are not great from their first go around. Often times it's just a matter of being stuck on one or two really important things, and you only figure those out after the disaster teaches you about them.

The owners probably don't care how long this drags out. The teams lose money anyways, so I don't see how the players have any leverage.
