As I mentioned in another thread , Kyler is adequate with the complete pieces around him. Expect much the same all year with a couple of highlight plays follow by some dumb stuff.

I put up as many defensive stats as Darius Robinson today.

It's only the first game, but for a first rounder last year, the guy has been extremely disappointing.
We couldn’t of used a #2 explosive WR.. we don’t even scheme for MHJR in this putrid, boring ass offense

If you're happy with that, what would have been a disappointment? They were one lucky play away from going to overtime.l
I said it was ok…not that I was happy. I expected the secondary to take some time. I said the ILB was a problem which led to issues underneath in coverage. DL has 3 guys on IR and the best player is 39. Very few deep drops for edge to get home. 13 pts on the road is never bad.

Oh we will get toMO eventually.

So far not having a wr room might be the least of our worries.

Good to win the opener haven't in several years. Yeah, it was sloppy but most first games are since no one plays in the preseason. Glad we got the Panthers at home next week.

a win and a cover

Hated being the road favorite for a week 1 game; especially with a new coaching staff. Glad to get a W -- even if it were way closer than it needed to be.

Honestly since I predicted the score, this is kind of what I expected. We build an early lead and then hang on at the end. Gannon is pretty conservative

I will add: James Connor 12 for 39.

when they dont run efficiently -- the offense is a slog. Oddly -- the offense looked most lively when they spread it out and went quick passing game

He always spins back to his left. You know it. I know it. The whole effen world knows it.
I am not a kyler hater, but good lord this has been the book on him since his rookie year. San Francisco is the only team that consistently makes him pay for it but its like the sun coming up.

Y'all deluded that think Kyler had a "good game".

Penix has thrown for 300 yards against the Bucs. Fields through for 230 vs the Steelers. Danny Dimes threw 272.

Kyler threw 163 against one of the worst teams in the league and 45 of them was is single good pass.

Kyler still had a 108.8 rating though. Superbowl mvp champ Hurts went 19/23 for 152 yds. 0 tds yet I'd still take him over Penix, Fields and Danny.

Kyler sucks. Petzing knows how he sucks. The whole offense is designed to limit his obvious flaws.

I can only assume that the plan has always been to do what they can to manage him until they can move on.

Kyler sucks? His passer rating today was 108.8

He's inaccurate? He completed 72.4% of his passes today.

Are you like, being obtuse on purpose? Trying to stir the pot or something?

And all of that behind some pretty terrible pass protection today Britcard. It was not good.

K1 was not spectacular today, but he didn't "suck". That's just crazy man.
