Only a complete delusional hater would be even attempting to defend Petzing at this point! Gtfoh with that total BS!

Kyler sucks. Petzing knows how he sucks. The whole offense is designed to limit his obvious flaws.

I can only assume that the plan has always been to do what they can to manage him until they can move on.

The Rams won 8 games by 7 points or less in 2024.

Why do our fans believe we are too good to win ugly?

Stafford had 20 TDs/ 8 INTs

For the season.

They were 17th and 20th in off and def ppg.

Don’t even get me started with the Seahawks…

They won a game 6-3, without scoring a TD on the road at CHI.

And were down 14-0 to the Jets with Rodgers on their 8 yard line. Leonard Williams got a 92 yard fumble recovery TD.

The largest return by a DT for a TD since 2006.

The chances of both things happening in one year for the same team are 1 in a million.

But we have fans who believe we should win while we are unlucky and we should “look good” or “blow out” bad teams.

After everyone was talking about how the 4-13 Cardinals in 2023 “competed,” hard, why do we act like no other team is capable of the same thing in a home opener.

Cardinals have mistakes to correct.

As does every team in week 1.

The most unpredictable week of the season.

Its almost like some people would rather be 0-1 like the last 2 seasons.

Be ready to win ugly cuz thats the only way this team is going anywhere. Thats what happens when you have a defense.

Thats how Geno won 10 games.

Thats how Stafford made the playoffs after the Rams defense dominated the 2nd half of the season.

Thats how Mahomes and Chiefs made the playoffs scoring less pts than the Cardinals last season.

They were 16th but a 4th ranked defense really helped.

Kyler will never be a top 5 QB.

He has the potential to be a playoff winning QB if he gets a top 10 def though.

Which he has yet to have his entire career.

Russell Wilson? 4 # 1 defenses in a row at SEA.

Purdy? 16 ppg allowed by the 49ers defense in his first two years. He went 17-4

But 6-9 last year with the 28th overall.

Darnold? Top 5 defense last yr definitely helped.

Geno? Top 11 DEF in ppg.

At what point do we accept we are allowed to win games like the rest of the division has.
Not only that, but finally have a defense comparable to what Kyler has player against since 2019 in the division will help the offense. This is the best Cardinals defense since 2015 and it will make the whole offense better than last year.

Mark my words.

You won’t get perfection. You will still get mistakes. But less mistakes than last year. Rams won 8 games by 7 pts or less last year.

Who won the division again?

It’s a combination. Petzigs offense and play calling is awful. Kyler still plays like he did rookie year except he throws downfield even less and still can’t identify and burn the blitz.
These were basically jail break blitz’s with 1 second to make a decision with linemen coming from every angle? I’m unsure what else to expect ?

If he thinks Kyler sucks maybe don't call passes on second AND third down?

Play calls actually says the exact opposite. He doesn't trust the run game for some reason.

A flawed kyler is better than a neutered offense w zero rhythm

And...we were playing against the longest active week one win streak in the league.
But we snapped it.

Baker was the #1 pick the year before Kyler.
I know that bro.

I don’t trust our regime at that time taking care of Baker, just like Cleveland

Herbert at least would’ve survived Keim.

Hence me saying we were a year too early

There were multiple times he called run in obvious passing situations until we were up 2 scores.

Sure thing hater! That must be it, definitely not the ridiculous play calling that everyone questions! You’re a delusional hater that can’t see past their own opinion. Never mind not even worth the effort…

Hard to get rhythm when your QB misses open receivers 4 yards away. There were multiple times Kyler missed simple passes.
Yea bro Kyler isn’t good & only played one good quarter today. I’ve given up on him too

But we still won at the end of the day with some positives. Let’s talk about some positives.

Take out Bensons 1 long run and the run game was awful. I love me some JC, but this could even be the year he’s become a plodder.

They have to open things up. I just don’t think Petz knows how to.

Y'all deluded that think Kyler had a "good game".

Penix has thrown for 300 yards against the Bucs. Fields through for 230 vs the Steelers. Danny Dimes threw 272.

Kyler threw 163 against one of the worst teams in the league and 45 of them was is single good pass.

You still don’t understand our offense after 3 seasons.

One can only laugh at you at this point.

Hard to be positive. QB is half the game and yet again he's proven who he is yet again.

Corners look good, defense played well. Melton and Johnson look like starting corners. Tackling was generally top notch. Benson looked like a competent 1B.
