Curious if you would have made any roster moves after the two projected starting DBs went out for the year and were comfortable with our selection of ADG and Simon behind Wilson at ILB. I wasn't and am fairly impressed that Rallis is juggling rookies (and second year players) as well as he has. The 4th quarter flops are a reflection of Gannon to me, as Petzing also liked to roll into a ball with play calls in the 4th quarter to lose games.

When you’re a DC you don’t get to pick the groceries. No one thought at the beginning of the season that this defense was thin. We haven’t had major injuries to our top players on that unit.

SMB and Starling Thomas were not our projected starters going into the season. I don’t think we’re losing games because we are only running out 2/3 of our top corners every game.

there are a bunch of reasons this coaching staff is below average but whether Harrison knows they could be eliminated is pretty dang low on my list of complaints.

I don't know how you can claim that one of SMB and STV were not going to be starters while also highlighting how bad Melton has been and how unavailable Will Johnson has been. I can agree that GWill, Will J, and one of SMB/STV were going to start but do you really think Melton was going to start over both of them?

No one gets a pass, but one of the issues on defense has been the revolving door of available players. That and the poor ILB play.

I guess we'll never know but it looked to me like Budda blew that play. I find it hard to believe that the call there is for Williams to pass off Egbuka and stay with Wirfs it seemed to me like Budda was supposed to stay there but he guessed or didn't know Wirfs was eligible

Exactly. MHJ was limping but after 3 catches on the first drive he only got 4 targets the rest of the day.

I did see him in a lockerroom interview on local TV (channel 3 I think? Maybe 12?) And they asked him about eliminated from the playoffs and he did not know they had been eliminated. He seemed surprised by the question.

The playcall was worse than the decision to go for it. I can't believe they didn't try to QB sneak it on either 3rd or 4th.
