If you don’t think there’s going to be a fan response to a team losing by 7 ppg vs 17 ppg, I don’t know what to tell you.

According to Ticketmaster, the average get-in price is $280 per game. Add in $40 for concessions. That equates to about 6,240 unsold seats per game to make revenue match.

There are also knock-on effects of club level and suit revenue lost because corporations find other ways to spend that money, which has a multi-year impact.

An attributed report by a member of the local media in line with the statement of a player who personally knows the principles?

Or…

I would’ve bumped him 2 mill and the rest heavy incentives: 250K per start and 250k per win in started games and 500K for playoff wins.

If he said no..cut him or trade for 6th rd pick.

Whole thing is stupid. Said it months ago the minute we named him the starter his contract went up because you have to pay him what an NFL starter gets paid. This is not the same but in the old Cards days they would draft Anthony Bell or Clyde Duncan in the first round and then not offer them first round money and wonder why they held out.

Brissett was named the starter they threw away all the leverage the second they did that. Monti is just dumb.

Every year they find a way to make me less interested in the season. I was on a high when we picked Love and I think we have a chance to be a pretty good offense, but it's a new system and the earlier JB gets in there taking reps the better. If you weren't willing to pay him starter money, don't name him a starter

He already has playing game bonuses in his contract. He has a $1M bonus if he plays in 50% of the games and a $2M bonus if he plays in 65%. He also has a $510K per game active bonus.

MLF needs to find his guys, and the qb room will present that to him in no time. I'd never ever pay Brissett that much. Minshew is probably injury prone at this point, and Beck has been getting a lot of reps. Last time I saw Minshew play in Indy, his arm was maybe average at best. I wouldn't be surprised if Beck wins this job. He has some age for a rookie, and this system fits him. He has to do something very rare, and look the part his rookie year. I'm one of the few that liked the 1st two days of the last draft for the Cards. It'll end up being an important draft for the future.
