It today's age of lazy people trying to lose weight....you could wrap it in lettuce and it still be a sandwhich. (Kind of depends if wraps are sandwhiches.....which Subway says yes.)

Either Atkins needs to be destroyed.....or the argument for BBLT is legitimate.

I disagree. The BLT is a SANDWICH. Wrap it in lettuce and it's a WRAP. Then it's a BLT WRAP. Not a BLT. When one speaks of a BLT, the image that comes to mind is that of a beautiful creation involving white bread (I will listen to no arguments that any other kind of bread would be satisfactory). Even DCR's wife would envision a sandwich (I'd wager) if she was asked to picture a BLT.

:notworthy

All those wanting to add letters (and actual items, WTF??) to the BLT should be taken outside and shot. Or maybe banned. I'm not sure, but this needs to STOP!

The BLT is better than all of you, just deal with it.

There is a court case in California or Massachusetts, where the court ruled a burrito is not a sandwich due to the folding of the burrito v. two pieces of bread.

Being a juror on that case would be awesome!

Then she doesn't eat sandwiches.

I call BS on #3. That is called a piece of bread/toast with something on it.

You lost all sandwich critique privileges when you suggested it would be appropriate to put avacado or sprouts on a BLT. Bah.

I am not debating that. However, it is possible to have a BLT using lettuce. Bacon, lettuce and tomato is all that is required. Bacon and tomato, inside of lettuce doesn't look as appealing, or taste as good, but it does meet the basics.

That is closer to a salad with bacon bits, than a BLT.

I thought your were taking the position that the "BBLT" discussion had merit.
