The lobby of my workplace just after sunrise always makes me think of the futuristic Gene Takavic scenes from BCS.

I can still remember the exact time and place I heard of and watched BB for the first time.

I was in a courthouse in Chicago, working as my boss’ writer’s Asst. on a pilot for Sony and he came up to me with a DVD of another Sony pilot that was in the running. He said “Watch this. It’s without a doubt the best pilot ever made… that will never get picked up to series.”

I watched it immediately on my laptop and was just utterly blown away. And agreed it would never see the light of day.

Was happy as a pig in slop when I saw the show announced and it ended up my favorite show of all time.
Breaking Bad hits different on streaming without commercials. I hadn’t watched it since it was airing on cable. GOAT show.

It’s also crazy that Saul was so good. It was supposed to be a half-hour courtroom comedy but they turned it into an elite/prestige show. You knew what was going to happen for the most part and they still hit it out of the park.

SPOILER: Saul was never a good guy, and his brother, Howard and other were right about him all along. My theory.

I think he tried to be a "good guy" but they molded him into the man he became. Until , of course, the end when he reverted back to his good self to protect his love for Kim

‘Better Call Saul' Is 0 For 53 In Emmy Nominations, Ending Six-Season Run Without A Win

Of course its all subjective but I thought the writing and music was at least a shoe-in

Lalo's character was phenomenal alone in the final season

I just couldn’t bring myself to watch this and now 10+ years after the premiere I decided to finally give it a shot.

The first 5 episodes were pretty blah. Nothing spectacular or particularly engaging and was considering quitting.

But then I watched episode 6. The entire back story of Mike and his son. The killing of the dirty cops. That episode was about as top notch TV that you’re ever gonna see IMO. It interested me, the story the acting everything about it was on point. It had me completely
Engaged. Now I can’t quit. I’m just hoping moving forward that there’s a lot more episode sixes as opposed to episodes one through five. Maybe it’s picking up steam?

It is quite possible that BCS was just as good as breaking bad. You are in for a real treat. Stay engaged

The first season of BCS has rough points to it like you're seeing. It really picks up steam though. Wait until you get to the last season. In some ways it ends up surpassing Breaking Bad.

The show is a much, much slower burn than Breaking Bad but I suggest you stick with it. Just gets better and better and better and almost reaches the same heights, in totally different ways.

BCS has its good parts, but I have watched BB start to finish 3 times. Won’t watch BCS more than once.

Took me 3 tries to get through BCS...loved it once I made it through. But an attempted rewatch only made about 4 episodes...

But I can be a moody viewer.
Dropped BB the first couple times...the main TV run and one attempt at a binge...just couldn't get through the halfway point in season one.
Then one day it clicked and I couldn't stop watching... have done three complete run through and the show is just awesome.

I dunno...was considering giving them both another run through...side by side...try to time up the episodes...see what happens

OK, the actor that plays Chuck should have definitely won an Emmy…. He nailed it. It’s still good enough to keep me watching so far. Finishing up season three.

Pluribus. Not just Seahorn's new show, it's Gilligan's new show. :)

There's a thread on it. I liked it but it is a bit slow deliberate to start out.
