Not sure I can name 5 players on the Saints. Absolute chaos if we lose this game.

Yeah, they're a bottom 5 team. Worst QB situation in the NFL, a barebones roster as they've been in cap hell for years. They've lost every game Rattler has played, only even COMPETING in one of them and even that one was against a Washington team that fell asleep up by 17.

I know crazy things happen week 1 all the time, but man, losing to the worst team in the league would be an awful start for a team that is expected to be on the up swing.

Reading this makes me nervous as we always seem to make crap teams and their players look good. I can almost see the “Rattler wins first game” headlines. Hmmm…did I inadvertently just begin this season’s “Rise Up Darkside” thread???

For anyone to lose to this Saints team, it will require a lot of unforced errors... fumbles, picks, dumb penalties, awful special teams.

We were one of the most disciplined teams last year, for all our offensive warts, they don't turn the ball over much.

I expect us to play a conservative game plan, against a team we can likely only lose to if we do something stupid. I think we win a low scoring game, 24-13 or something along those lines.

On moving the Chains PK delivered a stat that if KM is sacked 3 or more times then the Cards typically lose, far more than they win. IIRC it was 6 wins and 27 losses.
So don't turn the ball over and protect KM.
And have him not take bad sacks.

I hope the Cards watched the Eagles game. Being the heavy favorite doesn’t assure victory!
Especially when your top defensive player spits on a player before the game in full view of a national audience, cameras and an Ref in close proximity.

Hopefully Gannon covers this with his players:)

Go to the Saints board and they are saying the same thing about the Cardinals.
anyone left on a Saints board at this point is probably drinking a lot of Kool Aid.

This would be a sizeable upset on paper if the Saints pulled this off but i never am surprised when the Cards crud their pants

Brandon Staley was a dude as DC though right?

He was definitely beloved by the professional Ball Knower community. That genius might have been more related to having Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey though.

The Cards are the 2nd highest favorite of week 1 at -5.5. Highest road favorite by far.
I see the Broncs (-8.5) and Commies (-6) as bigger favorites and the Bengals tied. Look like the second-biggest moneyline favorite though.

Good. Wasn't expecting Hernandez to play early on and fully expect Stills to be part of the rotation if he practiced today. Probably held out yesterday as a precaution.
