Disappointed if they don't blow them out? This is the NFL, and we have only last season's stumble to the finish line as the last time this team played. Just win, just win somehow and some way lol
while I will in fact be disappointed if we dont blow them out....I agree with this.
Just get the W
all the disappointment and hand wringing over a poor week one showing will be gone by week two...with the exception of a few posters, lol

Is anybody attending the game....Ill be there bright and early!!
I'm in the building!!! Attending with my eagles fan cousin so unfortunately I won't be going to the tailgate. No way would he pay to party with Cardinals fans but I'll be having my OWN tailgate on Bourbon Street starting Saturday night!

My family are saints fans who have been saying this. Meanwhile I have told them anything can happen and it would not surprise me if the Saints made this game close and even won.

But I will be traveling down from St Louis with family to watch this game.
Gets us a win John. Teach those niece's they root for the wrong team. We're going to watch them win 3 more games this year together.

San Francisco
Seattle in AZ
Indy if you decide to go

Yall is our Edge group still kinda cheeks? Josh Sweat is our best pass rusher and he had one half more sacks last season than Aiden Hutchinson had in five game last year.

Baron Browning and Zaven Collins would be depth players on most good defenses.

Yes, how did we ever let Dennis Gardeck go? He was our number one EDGE rusher going into last season!

No. Find a new angle. saying "is our edge group cheeks" and then referencing Aiden Hutchinson, the most talented youthful pass rusher with long term upside in the NFL just shows how you are trying to frame this.

No, Josh sweat is not cheeks. And actually yes, Zaven will be considered a depth player this year on our good defense since the EDGE opposite Sweat will be staffed by committee. Zaven plays early run downs and Browning/Burch brought in to rush the passer... Don't be surprised if Burch supplants both and becomes 3 down player by Thanksgiving.

That is the definition of "Zaven Collins is depth on a good defense"

Now do you see how our Edge group is not cheeks? your over the top negative takes are old and tired.

I just got online and realized I missed my draft so it auto drafted. The holiday and being retired I completely forgot today was Tue. I got Kyler, Benson, our Defense. I'm ok with all 3 but it's funny it was an auto draft and it took Kyler as my first QB then took Goff as my backup and is now advising me to start Goff over Kyler in week 1!

I feel like our defense should be much better this year and in fantasy of course you want sacks and turnovers and I expect more of both this year.

I'm hoping for a big win but as others said you can never tell early in the season it's just never easy to judge. I'm starting Kyler not Goff hoping for a more opened up offense.

Josh Sweat is fine but he’s a third tier pass rusher, as you kind of infer.

I feel much better about the IDL group than I do the edge group in the first four games for sure.

I mean he's not LT in his prime of course but I think it's sort of hard to judge sacks from a guy who played for the Eagles because they play so many guys in their pass rush rotation? Last year he led the Eagles in sacks with 8, year before second with 6.5, year before 3 way tie for 2nd with 11. So he's been the 2nd best pass rusher on one of the best defenses for the last 3 years behind only Reddick.

I guess we'll see I assume we will rotate our front guys quite a bit but it wouldn't surprise me at all if Sweat gets double digit sacks?

We had basically the same number of sacks the Eagles did last year but Collins led us with only 5 sacks. I think if Rallis is as creative this year as he was last year, with much better talent, we're going to see more sacks

Will we? I don’t know. We had the same number of sacks as the Eagles last year, but they were 1st in yardage and second in scoring defense. Why?

i would be fine if we have two guys around 8 and 4 more around 6...then a few ones and twos in the mix
