This makes it almost crystal clear, that MB or SK (or both) wanted BA to fire Amos...Or head out the door with him at the same time.

If Amos gets fired, then hired in NY..... BA will say "The Giants are the only team I'd consider."

It's all hogwash. How many players, coaches, GM's, etc. step aside "to spend more time with family" and then end up in another position or role involving just as much time as their previous one (or they end up doing exactly what they did before)? Tale as old as time... It's in their blood and they just cannot stay away - even when they thought they were ready.
