Browns fan discussion: What would you consider a “failed” season in 2026?

No one knows exactly what to expect from the Cleveland Browns in 2026. The variables are many:

• First-time NFL head coach in his first season in the top role
• Uncertainty at quarterback
• A revamped offensive line that might need time to gel
• A roster full of young players who will be depended on
• Needing to replace Myles Garrett’s production and impact

When we polled fans, giving them just two extreme outcomes, a simple majority believe the Browns are closer to a playoff team than getting the first overall pick. That doesn’t mean fans are expecting the playoffs, but it does show where expectations are right now.

After eight total wins in two seasons, it is somewhat surprising to see the somewhat positive hope going into the season. On the other hand, Cleveland fans are used to being disappointed. So our Sunday discussion is about just that: What would you consider a “failed” season in 2026?
