Another Strange Disappearance

Kevin Strong is cut with no explanation. A near desperately short DL is now missing one of the few decent anchor guys they had. He certainly isn’t going to the Pro Bowl, but he was serviceable. This is especially ironic with Stills being put on IR. I just find it disturbing that functional players keep being cut with no clear replacements in sight.

Howard Balzer is reporting that it involved a personal matter with Strong it was handled amicably with the team personnel people. Also said that there's a chance that he rejoins the team in the offseason.

Yeah, not sure why he had to be waived. Unless it was the only way to open up a roster spot to bring up a practice squad player since he wasn't injured.
