Surprised more people are not talking about Proctor from Alabama.

i was talking all this same mess last draft but with the right guard booker who ended up being gone at #12 (dallas) which is how we unexpectedly got nolen

i was properly roasted for wanting booker but i think that's who monti wanted - point being i wouldn't be surprised by much - monti could go tackle or guard in the 1st round - he could even go left tackle

Florida State schooled him. He needs to likely drop a little weight to improve agility. He can be beaten with a crossover move at times when he gets overextended. He has good strength and footwork. He’ll play on Sunday. He’s just not as polished as the top guys. No sure how he’d look on the right.

While I love Mendoza at 7, this writers belief in our need for MORE DB help immediately after, without touching the OL until the 4th is both wild, and an indictment of MO, considering the vast capital already expended on the defensive backfield.

At some point people will recognize what PFF actually is and take their content for what is
As @Harry said. Pff’s big board is showing their evaluation of football skills and not adjusted for posional value or team need.

Cam Ward was only #20 last year, but they stilll had him going #1 in their mock.

I say it every year offensive line or the best defensive front seven player on the board.

Can’t wait for the let’s draft a WR crowd

That would be a pretty good draft. Siereveld has been their best OL and has had a really good year. His ascension has been like Arvell Reese but to a lesser extent. Both guys really blossomed this year.

This place is going to crazy when Monti selects Caleb Downs in round 1. Probably the best defensive player in the draft at a position of need and our HC is a defensive guy. I'm not advocating it, but I think it's a real possibility. Plus, he's from OSU and Monti loves OSU guys.
He's going to be a great player, which is what you want from top 10 pick, but a safety is not going to sit well.

I need the PFF mock draft simulator to track how many of those I run between now and draft day

just so I can measure the depth of my football related mental dysfunction.
