Gambo said Proctor was on their board. So it looks like it was between Brea and Proctor. So, I have to wonder what they liked about Brea over Proctor.

Yeah, I don't know.

I'd probably have gone with Nembhard not knowing much about these two players other than Brea is a shooter.

So I really like what we’ve done. But this begs the question . . . is this truly “building around Booker?” We’ve acquired a LOT of youth. Some kinda “proven” (green and Williams) but mostly pretty green. Just Brooks seems to be in line with bookers timeline.

Young:
Green (23)
Mark williams (23)
Dunn (2nd year)
Oso (2nd year)
Malauch (rook)
Flemming (rook)
Brea (rook)

Then you’ve got mid-career guys:
Allen
Oneal
Richards
Bol
Martin

Then book and beal

If the young guys work out having a frontline of . . .

Dunn
Flemming
Malauch

. . . is young, long and athletic. And kind of exciting. Add in a high flyer like green and you’re only missing a high end pg to stir the drink.

If these young guys show something but the team is struggling maybe the suns use Booker to find that high end young pg.

I’ll say this, until the young guys prove they aren’t worth anything I’ve had my interest in next year reignited.

Flex keeps saying Suns may resign CP3. I really don't want that to be true.
Funny, I was just pondering that looking at the athletes Phoenix has. I think he would be awesome as a backup pg, still one of the better PnR handlers out there and there's defensive athletes to cover for him. Could do much worse for a min vet signing.

It's Booker leading the kids. It's why I am fine with CP3 coming back because that was the best version of Devin

Rumors have been floating around all morning about Suns being interested in Payton Pritchard. It would be nice if something came of that.

2 weeks ago we were old and fubar'd for 6 years.

This is really stunning
I didn’t think I’d have much desire to watch the Suns until Booker was gone but now I’m very much interested after this draft and even seeing what Green can do at only 23 years old and with talent out of wazoo (that yea, I know comes with attitude questions out the wazoo too).

Yeah, have to admit they are going more young than I thought they would and I like it. It better work, because we don't have any 2nd chances.
