Flex keeps saying Suns may resign CP3. I really don't want that to be true.
I’m actually okay with that. Low expectations. Can be a leader for a young team. Teach them how to be competitive in the nba. Worked with bridges, cam, and Ayton young team.

And mind you, I don’t mean elevate them like the suns took off before. I just mean help the kids become pros.

I'm going to Vegas. The last time a draft pulled me there was Ayton and Bridges. Finally, some hope!

It'll be interesting to see where the W/L over under sits after Summer League. I'm planning on betting.

Definitely share the sentiment of seeing these kids play. Hope you have a good trip!

2 weeks ago we were old and fubar'd for 6 years.

This is really stunning
It’s why I kept telling people that there are always options. These moves may not pan out, but we are certainly in a different spot than we were last week. And we have some semblance of hope. And this is without even gaining significant cap relief where we can leverage ishbia’s checkbook.

Ishbia’s made some bad moves, no doubt. But he’s also repeatedly shown an ability to be creative in ways we couldn’t anticipate. This may be a case of a very smart and creative guy just having to make his mistakes in order to learn from them. If nothing else I applaud his continued creativity.

Here is a follow up tweet on CJ Huntley agreeing on a two-way contract with the Suns.

Yeah, have to admit they are going more young than I thought they would and I like it. It better work, because we don't have any 2nd chances.
Well this is the most positive comment I can recall from you in some time, so there’s that!

With the G League really established, I wonder if the NBA has considered expanding the draft to 3 rounds. I guess you'd have to be a real sicko to want that. It's probably better to give undrafted level players control to find a good fit.

Not much has changed really.

We got a guy in Green that has a bad contract and has not really fulfilled his potential.
Mark Williams who has missed 60% of the games he is eligible for and
3 draft picks who all might suck.

It's fun to imagine the best case scenerio - but at this point that's all it is, your imagination.
Aaaaaand he’s back!

I'd welcome back a seven round draft.

I’ve been so excited by so many drafts only to be eventually let down that I don’t make expectations anymore. I think there’s a good chance that both are frontcourt and backcourt are total disasters unless Ott is better than we think.
Actually I had forgotten than Ott has experience with a big athletic frontcourt with Cleveland. If he had anything to do with their successful development, that’s another good piece to add to all our young bigs.

We also should still have Jalen Bridges, our UDFA/2 way sharpshooter from last season to round out our summer league roster.

That team will need a point guard. I wonder if Collin or Ty Ty are set to play.

I have been catching Tim Legler a bit on the internet, and Legs has been saying the Suns could turn this around quicker than most people think.

One or both (Gillespie, Washington) may be out of eligibility for a two-way contract.

Hopefully the Suns sign Gillespie to their standard roster.
