Gambo said Proctor was on their board. So it looks like it was between Brea and Proctor. So, I have to wonder what they liked about Brea over Proctor.

Yeah, I don't know.

I'd probably have gone with Nembhard not knowing much about these two players other than Brea is a shooter.

So I really like what we’ve done. But this begs the question . . . is this truly “building around Booker?” We’ve acquired a LOT of youth. Some kinda “proven” (green and Williams) but mostly pretty green. Just Brooks seems to be in line with bookers timeline.

If the young guys work out having a frontline of . . .

. . . is young, long and athletic. And kind of exciting. Add in a high flyer like green and you’re only missing a high end pg to stir the drink.

If these young guys show something but the team is struggling maybe the suns use Booker to find that high end young pg.

I’ll say this, until the young guys prove they aren’t worth anything I’ve had my interest in next year reignited.

Funny, I was just pondering that looking at the athletes Phoenix has. I think he would be awesome as a backup pg, still one of the better PnR handlers out there and there's defensive athletes to cover for him. Could do much worse for a min vet signing.

Man… if just one of these guys we got in this draft pans out, we already have two solid, really bouncy, rebuilding pieces, with Dunn already looking like a find.

Going into this draft there was not much to look forward to. I don't know how the Suns could have done a better job than they did rebounding from such a dark and seemingly hopeless place.
