Ian Rappaport noted that Nolan's injury was considered a 6-8 week kind of injury

of course the national guy gets an objective answer

nolan's calf happened 2 weeks ago - first game is sept 7th - that would mark 6 weeks from when the injury was sustained - maybe another month to play it extra safe? thinking game 5

Yeah - well Robinson's was also supposed to be 6-8 weeks. I wouldn't count on it, especially with the risk of an achilleas tear

do reid and gannon have some kind of gentleman's agreement regarding ridiculous blitzes?

Gannon mentioned something about PS being totally unschemed, just who can show their talent and win one on one matchups.

I can see Gannon and Reed acquiescing to each other's requests for testing things. I don't think we start the starters game 1 if not for Reid. It wouldn't be apples to apples otherwise.

The defense ranked 31st in 2023 and the took a jump to 16th. I want to see if they can take a bigger jump this year.
A bigger jump that 15 spots would mean #1 in the NFL…

Agreed. If Andy wants to see his guys handle a jailhouse blitz on third and long then JG and NR will give him a jailhouse blitz

And vice versa

Well, you know...when you get in the top 5 each slot is tougher...so it takes a couple jumps per slot...
A bigger jump than last season would get us around 3rd ranked defense in the league.....give or take

I am really shocked how many people seem to be surprised how Adams looks. He was the guy I thought improved dramatically in the last few games of last season. I was fully expecting him to start and be very good this season.
Why? He was okay in one phase of his job and awful in the other.

He seems like a guy who can fit at LB for Gannon and Rallis. Seems to be smart. Lots of experience. Comes across as having a professional mindset. Has a base level of athleticism. Physical player. Who knows if that fit means starter or core reserve, but I would be shocked if he doesn't at least hang around.

I get some Jordan Hicks vibes from Simon. Can't really say why.
He kind of looks like the dude to be honest! LOL!

What is the Domino Effect of Hernandez coming back? Will it:
A. Determine the final number of OL, 8-9-10?
B. Assuming Adams starts amd Willi sits, who becomes the odd man out, on Cut Day?
C. Top three OT's are set, but does the addition of WH, make it less or more likely that a 4th OT will be kept?

Thanks for any insight.
