im thinking the weight room was our upgrade on offense - benson wasn't strong enough for the pass rush - mhj couldn't create separation thru contact and got knocked around on jump balls
from all accounts they've both been pumping iron all offseason placing power over speed or at least balancing the two

In fact I would argue that in many ways adding the guys we did was designed to make Robinson even more effective.
Last year Dante Stills was the only guy other than our first round draft pick who merited any attention at all from opposing offenses...and while I like Stills, neither guy stepped up as a game wrecker.
But CC, Tomlinson, and hopefully Walter Nolen...all can have game wrecker moments...that added threat should keep some attention off of Robinson so that with even a small amount of improvement he should spend more time in the backfield.
I get a bit giddy when I consider the possibilities...with Robinson and CC bull rushing the tackles, then Nolen getting skinny in the A gap,...we could be bringing pressure and collapsing pockets really quickly...
