All the good writers have been replaced by AI bots and "c's get degrees" frat boy journalism majors. Blech.
It's not really that, at least for me.

It's that "this passed across my youtube shorts algo" has supplanted "here's someone I trust" as a standard to post stuff here. I can avoid nonsense posts on youtube shorts because I don't go there.

But, like, people post the same aggregated "Cards looking for big second year from Marvin Harrison Jr" like six times. There's no new content here, just people linking to clickfarms.

I'd love to see a little more discretion. It's not like Darious Robinson bulking up is a new story here. They've been talking about it on the various Cardinals podcasts for three weeks.

A couple reactive thoughts to this.

1 - I don't love this for Josh Sweat. I know he doesn't need it, but when you are one of the highest paid players on the team and from the outside, you would like to see that leadership and integration, especially in year 1.

2 - Kinda the same for Akeem Davis-Gaither. Are you looking to take a step up to a starter or not?

3 - I wonder if Nichols and Jones are not happy about the DL additions. I view their situations a bit differently than Campbell and Tomlinson who are significantly more established vets.

4 - Nice to hear reports of the rookies picking things up quickly. The off-season always comes with fluff but it's better to hear it than not, IMO.

As for #1 and 2 Gannon spoke on this last week. "Voluntary" means voluntary and if they communicate he is ok with it.

A vet coming off a super bowl run isn't someone I'd expect to show up to voluntary OTAs. He just finished climbing Mount Everest

I understand Sweat after coming off a SB run, but the Akeem one is an eye-raiser to me.
