Simon led Ohio State with 112 tackles in 2024. His quick reaction time, ability to rapidly change direction and the way he changes speeds make it difficult for blockers to fit him up in the run game. He stays square when slipping blocks. Simon shoots gaps and splits double teams on run blitzes. He shows a good feel for route combinations, doesn't just guard grass and follows the quarterback's eyes to the ball in coverage. He is relentless rushing the passer and had seven sacks in 2024. Definitely can use depth at ILB, and Simon is a good player. I would have preferred WR or OL, but think he'll at worst develop into a rotational LB for us.

Don't know much about him but I love how we are going all in to build a great defense. I want to see a Cardinals defense that terrorizes opposing QBs. A defense so good that we can win games even when we score 14 or less.
