Didn’t become a Cards fan until they hit the valley in 88, but at ten it would have still been Lomax.

Terry Bradshaw / Cliff Stoudt. My neighbor and best friend moved with his family from PA when I was 3. No local football meant, I followed the Steelers with him. My first Cards game was in 89 or 90 at SDS against the Steelers. Drove up from Tucson to see them defeat my old fave team...

Jim Hart & whoever the backup was in 1979 lol? When I was 10 I didn't give a rats ass who the backup was.
Backup was Steve Pisarkiewicz. Pretty ugly era of Cardinal football in 79. Wilkinson was fired during the season & Larry Wilson actually was the HC the last few games. Hart was aging, but OJ was our next star. Hanifan took over in 80 & brought the team back slowly. By 81/82, Lomax was on the scene.
