There’s a difference between punishing him and liking him enough to root for him. Everyone has a right to make their own choices. I am still thinking about this one.

We really don’t KNOW any of these guys and what they are really like in their private lives. I am not defending him. He could still be a horrible dude, or maybe he has turned it around. I don’t know. All I know is what he plead no contest to doing. Haven’t seen the pics. Not sure I want to. I will take you alls word that it’s bad.

Yeah, I do not want to get into the judgment thing. Everyone is entitled to form their own opinion.

alrighty now - had a good night's sleep - morning shower and walked the dog - still processing

i don't have to go on about how f***ing despicable his actions are - his actions speak for themselves - if any of us saw this as a proposed trade on twitter we all would have shot it the funk down

we're fans tho - and there's a reason this trade wasn't leaked imo - because the backlash may have prevented it from happening

you know what funks me up about this whole thing? everybody keeps saying the suns have had interest in miles for a few years - let's put some scary ass timelines together

A) that's when ish bought the team
B) that's right after miles beat his wife

miles was set to get legit paid - big boy money - he had career highs in assists points and rebounds - won a player of the week - charlotte was just about to go all in on miles bridges

thing is - we thought ish cared about character - but it appears he's the one who's wanted miles bridges all along - because he's the only one who's been here the last few years

i think ish saw them unload lamelo and saw his opportunity - i imagine gregory was consulted and then tasked with making the trade happen - i do think we called them and initiated all this

turns out our shiny new mr nice guy billionaire owner might not care about being as popular as we thought - gotta re-light this blunt because damn - if ish wanted miles the whole time - after the beatdown - wtf?

basketball-wise i think the trade makes us a little tougher - a little better - and improved our cap situation big time unlocking a first round pick and blah blah blah

lockeroom-wise i don't know what kind of message this sends to our young players - especially the lifelong fans like oso and koa

chemistry-wise i'm worried af but i think the goal is to get tougher - dillon miles and williams can all bang or throw them thangs - but like dillon i think miles knows how to antagonize and/or intimidate his opponents

i love book but he isn't a hard cover - he's not exactly a paperback but you won't find him amongst the tough reads

i love jalen but this dude is always smiling - even when players try to test him he smiles - i'm pretty sure jalen green smiles in his sleep - jalen is more of a finesse gretzky than book ever was

even sham said the suns wanted miles bridges for years - that's before ott got here - before gregory got here - only people still around are ish and booker

idk but that was a good blunt

Many Suns fans wanted the team to do something bold. This trade for Miles Bridges was bold. Now I am not the moral police but for me personally I detest what Bridges did to the woman of his children. As everyone should. With that being said I spoke with a former coach of his and this is what he told me about him as a PLAYER. "One of my favorite players. Loves to play, works hard, epitome of a Four. Can throw a lob to him. He can hit a three, can guard. Plays bigger than he is. Has a love for the game that not all have - if the season was ever cancelled he would be the first one at the Y looking for a pickup game. He was a great teammate and was very coachable. He needed to get out of Charlotte so Phoenix will be great for him. He may explode in Phoenix so don't be surprised to see the best version of him"

I wonder how much this is Ish or Gregory. Not sure how many people know that Gregory's time at Michigan State as a front office guy is when they brought Miles in. They definitely had a relationship at the time in Michigan so who wanted it more.

Have to imagine that with better coaching he'll be playing better here. He just needs to keep his head on straight.

Our interest in Bridges pre-dates Ishbia and Gregory.

Yeah… here’s the thing. Trading for a non-All Star who’s never done much to make his team better IS NOT BOLD. What makes the move bold is the fact that we willingly made a move to trade for a guy that beat his girlfriend and kid.

Taking a risk on a guy like a Zion or even a Ja would be bold. That is shooting for the stars. This is shooting yourself in the face, from an personell and PR/moral standpoint.

I am not sure if it matters if we had interest in him under a different owner and with a different GM. It’s really not even the same team.

I didn’t want bold. I wanted to develop our young players. BOLD is when Ish makes his biggest mistakes!

same. that is the other reason I think this move is mind-numbingly stupid. It's definitely the "ALL-IN on let's make sure we're the 8 seed plan!" for the rest of Devin Booker's career come hell or high water. The morality of this team moving forward interests me as a person considerably less, but from a basketball standpoint, putting roadblocks to Malauach and Flemming with the Williams deal and this move dulls my interest as well. Those guys are really the only reason I care to watch this watch this team.
