I think Mike L might be a little shocked now this happened, but it's really typical, often times it's being thrown a curve ball like this that forces you out of your safe zone. I'm not happy Simpson went to a division rival, I figure this will haunt us but there's not a lot the Cardinals could of done to stop it either.

IMO, this stupid pick locks in that when Stafford is done, McVay is out in LA.

Lots of smoke that he is leaning towards a break the last few years, I think this clinches it. McVay has been sticking around to try and win a title, they've gotten really close... and the GM is drafting his buddy's kid in the first "for the future".

McVay made it clear that Simpson will need to beat Stetson Bennett for a roster spot... and it makes sense, Bennett was a far better quarterback in college.

I'm a firm believer that if you put a good player in a great environment, they will become great. Likewise, if you take a great player and put him in a marginal environment, they will become marginal. I've seen it for far too long with Cardinal players.

Simpson will be fine under McVay just like Purdy is under Shanahan.

Let’s hope we have something in MLF. We’ve had tastes before with Arians and Denny building a SB team for Whiz. I’d love to have it long term for a change.
