Yeah, I noticed you like to throw that term around. Is that supposed to be trenches? Thank the awful coaching, and scouting for that. They draft from the same pool. Thank the poverty free agency...blah blah
It means studs. I came up with it after the old wrestler, Big John Stud.

We were better with McBride and Ertz than we are with McBride and Higgins.

We added our best or second-best OL. That’s something to legit feel good about.
I LIKE Elijah and would have been pretty p.o'd had we lost him.

I heard MO was going to build this team through the draft.
Maybe he will in the 2027 Draft

The most depressing aspect is that Keim was somehow worse.

I don't know how you say this with any confidence. Keim drafted Honey Badger/Zach Allen/David Johnson/Budda/Christian Kirk/Markus Golden. He also traded draft picks for Chandler Jones and Carson Palmer.

Please let me know what Monti has done that is better?

I’m talking about on these draft value charts. We were dead last during Kiem time.

No, the depressing part is that Keim was better than Monti. Because we're still stuck with Monti.
In limited defense...we can agree Monti has been limited in getting immediate impact players not playing Left Tackle... but this coming season is the first we should see what some of his more notable picks look like once matured and developed.
a couple of the guys he has picked have had some really good traits but needed development and some advanced coaching to be effective at the NFL level...we all know it generally takes 3 years for guys to develop and start hitting their potential...not just learning, but reaching physical maturity...that coveted "age 25" when their body catches up to the rest of them.
we still have hope for some of these guys to be more than they have shown so far.

My concern over Robinson...has been mental though. Even as a rookie he showed exceptional strength..but didnt seem to know any techniques to take advantage of that strength...I have found it perplexing that our vaunted "Defensive Guru" packed coaching staff could not teach him how to transition from a bull rush to a swim or spin... if he is just incapable of learning...then the bust tag applies...strength alone just will not get it done...
we should pray Coach Flower has a coaching style that gets through to him... if Robinson steps on the field this year at even 80% of his projection...our defensive prospects jump by a large margin....

lining up Sweat, Robinson, Nolen, Stills, Collins/Browning would give us a basic lineup thats flexible and capable of blowing up plays in the backfield in nearly any game situation. .. if we end up adding a guy like David Bailey...it makes for a definite strength on passing downs.
