What same thing is that?

Assuming Mendoza is off of the table, what would you suggest?
Using a high pick on the little guy who is extremely raw and hoping it all somehow works out.

There are no good answers. Trade up for Mendoza, obviously, but that's not happening for a number of reasons. Sign a vet to compete with Brissett, snag Allar or someone like that in the 3rd, and let's roll.

Are you saying you wouldn't want to swap Chambliss with Kyler right now? That's essentially what we would be doing...

Interesting.

A 2nd round pick doesn't have to be your QBoF. Hell, we drafted two QBs in the first round in back to back years...

How sweet it would be for you if we drafted Allar and he turned into a legit superstar QB.

Duh, that's not even close! Nice try, forgetting about a SECOND ROUND PICK. Are you desperate to "win" this mini-argument or did you just make a derp? Sure, I'd trade them straight up, no questions asked. I am so NOT interested in using a premium pick for Chambilss.

Isnt he saying we get a 2nd for KM, and then use that 2nd on Chambliss? Thats essentially a swap for the two. Derp.

DERP you have to actually believe we're getting a 2nd for KM. We aren't DERP Oh, and that's not actually what he said DERP Oh and Isn't :BIM: DERPTY DERP

Thanks for your contribution.

The trading for Kyler was a part of the scenario I had in my head. It looks like I only articulated that in another thread.

If Kyler is still on our team, I most likely do not want to draft Chambliss with our 2nd round pick...

I gotcha. No worries. I mean, I'd roll the dice on Chambliss just not in the 2nd round. Too high. 3rd? Why not. Still do not love him as a prospect, but whatever for a 3rd.

3.
Arizona Cardinals: T Francis Mauigoa, Miami (FL)

I thought about giving the Cardinals linebacker Arvell Reese, a seek-and-destroy second-level defender. However, Arizona badly needs offensive line help. Mauigoa might not be a Penei Sewell– or a Tristan Wirfs-caliber prospect, but he’s a two-contract starting offensive tackle who was rock-solid this season, garnering an 87.0 PFF pass-blocking grade and a 77.1 PFF run-blocking grade.

There is an argument that Fano would fit better in the stretch zone running scheme than Mauigoa. Ugh. I really need Monti to not Ossenfort this pick up.
I think each one is a significant upgrade. I’m still willing to chance a short move down.
