Remain calm. All is well. If Monti just gets to tear it down again, and we give him three years, he'll turn this thing around for sure!
Fanduel should start odds on Monti turning around the Cards vs Trump launching a healthcare plan.

{Not meant to be a political comment...just humor.}

Apparently not you. When the 49ers won 6 games last year it was because they were “ devestated by injuries”
Guess they didn’t coach up their backups.
This blatantly ignores the goodwill tha the niners built up with SUCCESS prior to that. That’s why they get a pass. That and they won TWICE AS MANY GAMES AS WE DID. lol. Not the same. Not remotely the same.

Kyle Shanahan has been their coach for 9 seasons. Only 5 of them have a winning record. I googled the losing seasons and the consensus reason to all of the losses is injuries.

Find me a three period where he lost as many games as the cards these three years. Or alternatively find me a three period where he failed to have a winning season. In fact, find me a three year period where he didn’t have at least one season with a minimum of 12 wins.

Hint: don’t bother looking. I’ll save you the time. You can’t find any of that. Because shanahan and Gannon are not the same.

I’m NOT signing up for more of the same. If I felt I was, then I would say totally clean house & move on. I believe that this roster has serious potential and that barring another season of catastrophic injuries, they can be a playoff team.
Which of rams, niners, or Seattle are they overtaking and how are they accomplishing that?

Nolen, Conner & Wilson. First 2 almost all season; latter 8 games.
So an unproven rookie, a good rb who isn’t a franchise level talent, and a mid level ILB. This was a good exercise to show that despite the amount of injuries, they weren’t pro bowlers. They weren’t super high level talents.

If the Cardinals ever figure out how to stay healthier, they have the talent to win 10+ games. If you do the math, that likely means that the record of the other 3 teams has to come down a bit. It happens every year in the NFL. It can certainly happen in the NFCW.

After giving it some more thought. Gannon and his staff have got to go.
Look no further than the Jaguars and the Bears. They cleaned house and went from worse to first in one off season.

Coaching matters. This staff just doesn’t have it. A patchwork job just isn’t going to work.

The Cardinals have taken your approach for the 62 years I’ve been a fan. Where did it get us? Maybe it’s time to show a bit of patience & see if maybe a healthier 2026 might help. There are NO Ben Johnsons out there to save us.

If you KNEW there was a Ben Johnson out there that we could hire, would you?
When the Falcons hire Liam Coen was anybody impressed? Ben Johnson?

Yes, I do believe that everyone was aware that Coen & Johnson were really good at their craft. For one year, the 3-4 year hire & fire coaching carousel has to stop for this franchise.

Posters have gone over the injured list multiple times. The injuries haven't been horrific the entire season, and we weren't good before we became injury plagued. The talent level of our injured players wasn't anywhere near pro bowl level. So, yeah, the excuse is razor thin.

We have been to the Superbowl and NFC championships since I started watching around the Plummer timeline

Kyler's best years. ROTY and 2 pro bowls under K2. But Kyler lovers called him Klownsbury. Turns out, he wasn't the problem.
Late season collapses continued last year after Kingsbury was gone too.

Eh. We were competitive the first 8 games of the season and several of those games could have been won - I blame coaching for that.
Since then, pure dumpster fire.

Silly comment. If injuries kept players from playing, how would you know what their talent level is? When 90+ players have had to play in one season, not even Vince Lombardi in his prime could succeed.

Jake was drafted 29 years ago. We’ve lost one Super Bowl, gone to two NFC Championships, and had a total of 7 winning seasons in that time frame.

22 losing seasons in 29 years.

That’s pretty bad.
