Awesome, those were my favorite uniforms.

I did like the Statement jerseys they wore against Utah too, especially the shorts.

Now, if they could only bring back "Sirius" by Alan Parsons during player intros, that would be the cherry on top.

I should have known...NY times and Athletic are basically the same company. I don't have a subscription. Sorry

pay wall. Gist please.

Suns’ Devin Booker says playing in Phoenix for entire career is ‘something special,’ wants to stay

Devin Booker says he feels the love from Suns' fans due to his lengthy career in Phoenix, "It's something special."

The gist is Booker knows he represents the city of Phoenix and takes personal ownership in that and knows how uncommon that is these days. It's a different kind of love and he wouldn't want it any other way. He wants to get us back to that playoff electricity that reverberates throughout the city. He says the same could be said about Curry and his city. Book mentions Duncan, Dirk, and Kobe.

Those guys; Book, Dirk, Kobe, Curry weren't the consensus #1 picks or even top 3. All drafted much out of the top 5? (i forget where curry was), anyway, they had the opportunity to grow and develop into that role for the their team. I think that factors into a lot of it versus being a top pick with so much pressure on you, that if it doesn't work out then then franchise will look to move you.

Curry was picked 7th. I recall Kerr as our GM wanted to move up to get him, but ended up going to GS himself to coach him.

Bad headline. Booker didn't call Brooks "selfish", Brooks accused himself of being selfish in the locker room after the game.
Yeah, that's just trash, trying to stir up controversy. And while it was an incredibly stupid decision on Dillon's part, it didn't change the outcome. I'm glad Devin didn't pile on and didn't ignore it.
