After beating the Clippers, if the season ended today, the Suns would be the nine seed.

I have been thinking about that Green for Morant idea. The trade works straight up. Green might be the more valuable piece at the moment. He is bigger and younger. Ja's game is reliant so much on his athleticism and injuries have started piling up taking away that advantage. His high flying game makes you expect injuries. His shooting is meh. And he is not proving durable.

It's still an intriguing thought.

Nah, I'm only willing to worry about one injury-prone starter, not two.

"injury-prone" is just one of the reasons to not want Morant. He also has a terrible attitude and is a horrendous defender.
Yeah I'm not sure what we're going to get from Green but I do know I don't want Morant in Phoenix. Ignoring the personal issues and the injuries, he'd probably make us a little better but it's the kind of situation we should stay away from.

morant's new nikes just dropped november 4th - i think they say "let me be ja" which is pretty telling - thinks he's the next allen iverson and he might be - closest ive ever seen but team ball wins rings

Well I have to admit this Suns team might be better than I thought.

So far I think the coaching has been very good - only problem I really have with it is them still giving Oso minutes when he should be nailed down to the bench.

Grayson, Royce, Gillespie, and Williams have all been better than expected. Book is starting to look like his old self in the last few games, and is actually shooting the 3 well so far. Dunn is showing improvement - really it feels like all we need is one more forward we can rely on - which could be Fleming eventually.

I actually now think this team may be able to sniff .500 this season. I am pleasantly surprised.

I will complain if when Brooks is back and Khaman is more comfortable if they are still giving Oso minutes. My guess is his minutes will dwindle as the season progresses (if injuries don't force him to play).

They're definitely better than I thought they'd be. I don't see playoffs in our immediate future but we should be able to compete with the middle of the pack teams.

I mentioned in another post, I think Ott is playing Ighodaro out of necessity, not out of choice.

The Suns bench is incredibly weak at the 4/5 unless they can develop someone.

They aren't weak at the 5. Maybe the 4. It makes no sense to play Oso over Richard's or Maluach.

Grayson is playing out of his mind. I love him on this team.

Allen is much improved over last season. He is doing much more as a player than shoot threes. His assists are way up.

100% agree. I would much rather have either Maluach or Richards take all of Oso's minutes, and I am almost positive the team would be better for it in both the short and long term.
