I’m not gonna sit here and recall or say what was different it’s too hard to remember. And I’m not gonna defend Kylers play either.

You watched the game & if you didn’t see some different play calling & a different schematically designed plays then I don’t know what to tell you. Whether it’s was fear of his job, Kyler or inserting a new QB Uncle Fester called a more aggressive & creative passing game today. Even JG said postgame they inserted some new stuff offensively!!!
I think you will naturally see more things when the volume of plays, specifically pass plays, are higher. Also, play action passing looks different when the QB is under center.

JB played well. Was refreshing to our QB stand in the pocket make some really nice throws. This team can never play complimentary football. Every time we took the lead, defense immediately gave it back up. For the most part we have no pass rush, and coverage is not good. Bad combination. Good teams find a way to win close games more times than not.
I still say we’ve got guys at CBs that are better in m2m than soft zone & yet we rarely play m2! Too many easy throws especially when your front 4 can’t get off blocks & pressure the QB.

I’m not concerned about Kyler Murray because Kyler Murray will not be a Cardinal in 2026, imo.

JG is way more likely to still be here than Kyler in 2026. I’m very much concerned about the guy that will be here longer than the other guy.

I'm sure Bidwill will give Monti and JG another chance with a QB, sure. Doubt he wants to start over again.

Zay Jones still getting more targets when MHJ was healthy was a little bit concerning even with their best CB out. I’ll say that.
They were rolling coverage pretty aggressively to MHJ from what I could see. I think Zay outtargeted McBride as well during that period. I think MHJ made a mistake bulking up this offseason but I am not worried.

This is cool and all, but how many of those teams have HCs with defensive backgrounds? Denver, Miami, Tennessee, & LAR all have offensive-background HCs.

Its more of the reason why I want to move off of Gannon because what does he even do if his main strength can’t stop another strength?

The D line has been kinda disappointing. It's far more solid than it was but CC is it's best player. Neither edge is explosive. We have a bunch of solid guys but no stars.

9ffense deserves some props outside Brissett today. He didn't do it on his own.

All the WRs showed they are NFL talents. We had 2 practice squad RBs. The O line did well, only 1 sack.

That was a gutsy performance.

We had Zachary Carter, PJ Mustipher and Anthony Goodlow taking D lines snaps today. Some context required.
You say this like the “starters” ahead of them in Robinson, Nichols, & Jones aren’t bad.

I mean, the offense had Bam Knight, Michael Carter, Dortch, Zay and Wilson. Gotta figure it out.

All those guys have a whole bunch of NFL games and starts.

Those 3 D Line have about 100 snaps between them.

Arizona Cardinals tight end Travis Vokolek suffered a scary neck injury on Sunday during the team’s Week 6 game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Vokolek was involved in a kickoff return against the Colts. He ended the play flat on his back, lying motionless after he tried to block Indianapolis linebacker Segun Olubi.

The medical staff came over to tend to Vokolek as players gathered around him. Some players took a knee. He was loaded onto a stretcher and was carted off the field. He gave a thumbs up as the cart drove through one of the tunnels at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The FOX broadcast reported that Vokolek was alert and could move all his extremities. He was later ruled out for the rest of the game.

People always forget this simple phenomenon with backups on crap teams. When will they learn!? Haha
I missed the game, and I also must be missing something the box score isn’t showing…. 2tds/1 bad int… 61% completion rate… threw the ball 44 times which was more than kyler in any game the season (and more by 9+ attempts in all but 1 game ans 13+ in all but 2 games). Our WR1 didn’t flash (did he get injured, I didn’t watch).

These look like very solid stats for a backup QB.. but got the L and a bunch of yards with a bunch of attempts and a mediocre completion percentage.

He was under a lot of pressure and at times free runs at him

He also stood in the pocket and took hits while throwing

Solid game for a backup

No one is anointing him the future starter

You know how hated Kyler is(I understand) when the fanbase is happy despite the loss because of Jacoby’s performance & not the defense being awful with a defensive-background HC lmaooo
I don’t see anyone celebrating or “happy.” I think I see a whole lot of people seeing the first piece of confirmation of their hypothesis.

I’m only “happy” because I’ve believed from the second game that we would be bad and would rue any additional wins. I’m watching in morbid curiosity to see if each game is a nail in Kyler and the coaching staff and fro t office’s coffins.
