Normally, your offense slows to a crawl when your back up QB has to replace the QBoF. Not only did the offense not miss a beat, but the ball was being thrown all over the place and down the field.

Jacoby is not the long term answer, but this proved beyond a doubt that we can, and should, do better than Kyler Murray

Looking that way

Time to move on from KM and start over

It may end up worse, we'll see
It may end up worse, may end up better for both.

Giants fans were convinced Tommy DeVito was better than Daniel Jones. Now he's an MVP candidate.

Only 5 or 6 QBs are elite regardless. The rest are totally dependent on system and fit. Kyler is a terrible fit for the system JG/Monti want to run.

Its time to move on.

I honestly haven’t heard Budda or Jalen’s name called much at all this year for a positive play. Always seem to be chasing
They are easy targets all game. Teams just know how to pick both of them apart and attack frequently. That's why we give up so much soft crap in the middle of the field. It's nauseating. Budda was torn to shreds on that last touchdown from Downs.

the pass opened up the run - it's been the opposite for us since forever

Not buying what you’re selling. Your offense doesn’t get better because your best WR goes down with an injury. It got better because the play calling improved and the running backs were keeping the defense honest. It also helps that we were playing a QB who, for the most part, wasn’t playing out of his comfort zone and trying to be the hero on every given play
Bold take, but I honestly think we win this game if Marv doesn’t play at all. I actually have questions if he even is our best WR.

Man. Would have been sweet to win that one at the end. I'm not bitter as I expected far worse and it was the most fun game this year, but still. Would have been a turning point.
The team showed some fight and played hard

The O in spite of the poor blocking moved the ball and scored points

Something to build on

Now the defense....

Budda's been out of position, run into guys instead of making tackles and dropping INTs

Not impressed

I would trade him to a contender both for him and us but I honestly don't think the NFL is all that high on him like the NFL media is?

I mean that last TD Taylor is going to score anyways but budda literally runs to the blocker and hugs him giving Taylor a walkin TD

Nice game from Jacoby Brissett but he will turn back into Jacoby Brissett if he’s the QB for an extended period of time. We went thru the same thing with Colt after a spot start or two.
Shhhh don't harsh the Kyler haters buzz, man

Correct. But we would get dick in return. Which is what he provides on the field. So, that's fair I guess.

Nfl players think pretty highly of Baker: he was voted #34 in the top 100 Nfl players according to Nfl player's list for 2025. :)
