We play not to lose for most of the game each week.

If we have a negative play on first down it is like we will give up on the drive. 2nd and 17, we will call a slow developing run for no gain, then follow that up with a screen pass.
Yep

Think about it. JGs philosophy is to play mostly soft zone defense with 2 safeties high & make teams drive the length of the field & limit his blitzes & hopefully they will make a mistake. The irony is that is that is exactly what their offensively philosophy is on the opposite end of the spectrum. But yet he’s doing it with a poor offensive coordinator, whose scheme is piss poor.

Too many teams beat JG at his own game!

Worst redemption story ever at least tonight.

Kyler finally had his best comeback since the Bills game. Was absolutely calm and in control the entire last drive, especially when blitzed. I was like "where the f has this been?

Marvin Harrison finally stopped body catching and used his size against his defenders
1) Petzin sure does seem like the number one issue to me!

2) Oline/loss of Oline coach to Cowpies a close second

3) passive, conservative schemes on offense & defense next

I can't even get away from it its so bad

1.4 MH Jr - Sorta a bust
1.27 Darius Robinson - Mega Bust and I was so pissed this was the pick
2.43 Max Melton - can't cover anyone 1 on 1. Okay in zone.
3.66 Trey Benson - He's an Abba song and a terrible pass blocker
3.71 Isiah Adams - Just freaking wretched. Does nothing well
3.82 Tip Reiman - The worst pick in the draft and that says a lot. Somehow people think that a bad 6th offensive lineman is a good thing
3.90 Elijah Jones - His own coaches hate him.

You have 2 marginal starters in MH Jr and Melton
You have 1 situational player in Tip Reiman
You have 2 bad players in Darius Robinson and Isiah Adams

And then Elijiah Jones is just an unknown because his own coaches hate him but they also hate KeTrel Clark so who knows

The Petzing is directly in charge of the WR coach and the Oline coach.

They all need to be fired together. Every WR we have is currently worse than they were in college

Ossenfort's picks two years ago with 7 of the first 90 picks is criminal

1.4 MH Jr
1.27 Darius Robinson
2.43 Max Melton
3.66 Trey Benson
3.71 Isiah Adams
3.82 Tip Reiman
3.90 Elijah Jones
Imo Marv, Max & Benson are solid players, Robinson definitely is a bust.

The problem is Monti hasn’t drafted a stud or “difference maker” it appears outside of Williams & Johnson yet!!!

Which is why I wanted Will Anderson. Last draft I wanted Alt & Brian Thomas.

So I'm still not sold on Ryland and after that KO I am wondering if there are options? Koo is on the Giants PS now but he's going to win the job and coming off his worst year he might not be the guy. Not sure who else is out there probably nobody better than Chad but missed one last week and then tonight the fatal KO
I'm not that bothered by a kicker missing from 57 yards. It's still a tough kick for Nfl kickers, far from a chip shot. Now if Ryland had missed from 47 yards, that would upset me.

Dont forget we traded down instead of taking Cooper DeJean. I dont care if you have Garrett Williams you make it work.

Max is ok, but eh.

Benson is nothing.

Melton is next to nothing.

Marvin Harrison is an okay second year WR… taken with the 4th overall pick in the draft. That’s not solid. And where he was drafted does matter because of what we passed on to draft him.

This is really bad. There’s no escaping it.

Alt and Thomas was also on my 3 best case scenarios

Sure and Gannon was pretty clear after the game he's not blaming Ryland he was trying to keep it in play to kill time and just mishit the kick but really sucked
