He panics under pressure (basically, what @Harry called QB PTSD,
lots of examples of this

the weird thing is that it can really vary game to game.

while no QB likes pressure up the middle, it seems to really get into Kyler's head. It seems like early pressure up the middle in a game can speed him up for the remainder of it. Edge pressure not so much,

Heard him on the radio recently saying he didn't have an accuracy issue. Maybe the ball is going where he's aiming and it's decision that's the issue?

1. if there is one stat that needs to change to get Kyler from good to very good or great -- its this one

2. Im desperately trying to find the same stats for him for 2019-2021. By recollection, during that time he was one of the best.

Maybe it works with Fitz/Hop/Kirk/AJ Green but hasnt with Hollywood / Rondale Moore / Wilson / MHJ

I just find it really hard to beleive that a guy goes from being super accurate to age 24 and then suddenly terrible when he turned 25 absent a serious shoulder or elbow injury

He bulked up a lot, which might have changed his accuracy on longer throws.

Man. When Sean Payton turned us down for the quarterbackless Broncos I didn't think he would have the better QB within a year.
Payton and Reid are offensive geniuses along with QB gurus.. they’ve pretty much made every QB look solid to great

Did you say that last year as well? Just asking if this is like my annual "We're going to the Superbowl". I tell my family every year. I was right once tho. So there's that

30 year old Cowboys fans have been saying - every year - "this is our year, we're going to the Super Bowl" and they've been wrong every year. At least we have that 1, lol.

my biggest fear is that after years of "this is the year" only for last year to look very much like every other Kyler year... pretty good start to falling flat on his face when it counts, that there's a breaking point for the "potential" QBs where once you fail often enough in similar circumstances, that mentally gets the best of you and falling flat on your face creeps in much earlier, at the first sign of trouble, derailing an entire season. (That is a ridiculous run-on sentence.)

Now, we've seen signs of resilience from previous "potential" guys like Baker bouncing back, and Geno Smith/Darnold's career rising from the dead, but all the preseason reports of picks/struggling have me praying he doesn't go full Delhomme. I don't really think that's a possibility, but it's def my biggest fear lurking in the back of my mind.
