Not sure I like what happens at the end, tbf, but that trailer looks epic.
Gunn’s def got the finger on the pulse for the oddball group of heroes stories. It’s been a reaaaaaaally long wait for this but I’m betting it’s gonna be worth it.

Yep. Not sure I like that at all with this show. Leave what works alone.
They had no choice once Gunn took over and he decided to do his own thing. The Justice League cameo at the end of Season 1 is a different continuity than Gunn's. By keeping some of the stuff going they sort of mucked it up. Now, Justice League we have been watching is one universe. Suicide Squad he wanted to tie into his universe (including Peacemaker) which is a different universe. No telling how or if the new Batman fits into any of it.

"The truth is almost all of Peacemaker is canon with the exception of Justice League… which we will kind of deal with in the next season of Peacemaker,”.

Sounds like they are going to address the inconsistency in Season 2.

Ah, if only Gunn had stuck to Suicide Squad and Peacemaker we would have been much, much better off. Oh well.

Lol… I love that you say with this with so much certainty without even seeing what Superman ends up being.

Not commenting on Superman at all, although I have serious reservations. I just don't want Peacemaker tarnished by the same "shared universe" brush that is eroding a lot--not all, but a lot--of comic properties these days. I'd rather it just be its own show.

Okay… but your comment implies he’s already failed with Peacemaker Season 2 without even seeing the show yet.

The guy hit home runs with Suicide and Peacemaker 1, not to mention the best trilogy in the MCU. He’s been… kinda good so far in all his live action comic book stuff. There is something to giving someone the benefit of the doubt.

Not at all! It in fact looks epic. I simply didn't want shared universe stuff. You can kindly leave my opinion alone now, please thanks. Or we can continue a pointless argument.

I don't know about the Home Run part of SS (although Harley was awesome) but GG was epic. Which is why I was so shocked at how much I hated SS2 and surprised how good Peacemaker has been despite coming form that universe. I am still skeptical he can save DC and the mess they created but I will give it a shot.
