Saban Lee is no longer under contract with the Suns.

I hope the Suns have extended the possibility he could return to the team.

How much time do we have to sign him? Is there some sort of deadline?

The previous two posters have answered your question. The Suns would have to sign him to a regular roster spot.

Saban Lee can only sign two 10-day contracts with the Suns and the time for signing players to two-way contracts has passed.

I guess theoretically they could sign him if available up until playoff rosters are frozen if they have an open roster spot.

I'm hoping the Suns do a trade, perhaps waive excess players and sign Lee.

Damion Lee leads the NBA in 3-point shooting percentage at 47.2%.

Waived to sign Sabin lee to a 2 way.

this is a mistake IMO, unless they are about to sign Washington to a regular deal.

I thought the deadline on signing a player to a two-way contract passed on about January 15th.

Agree, waiving Washington Jr. could be a huge mistake, although I like Saban Lee.

I think Lee is more what we need now. Sucks to lose DW jr but its likely we will have to make even more room soon.

I agree with this, but some team will sign Duane Washington Jr. and develop him into a point guard. I think he will be an excellent player down the road. Furthermore, I think it's a short-sighted approach by Phoenix. Washington Jr. is only 22.

It may be an unpopular opinion, but I would have rather waived Ish Wainright.

Totally agree.

Washington has way way more potential than Lee.

I think it is extreemly short sighted to let him go.

Waiving/getting rid of a young potential talent? Never happens in the Valley
