I sincerely hope that it changes with health.

I sincerely hope Ayton realizes his talent.

I hope and hope and hope.

14-22 is the reality.

It's frustrating, I know. That said, the reality also is we're a better team than last season having already reached the win total we had in March by early January. that's with Ayton missing 30 games. We're also 1.5 games out of the playoffs. I think if I told you back in September that we'd be close to the 8 seed in January with Ayton missing 30 games, you'd consider that progress.

I do think Ayton is very close to breaking that seal, but he needs to put it all together. He's improved defensively, as a passer, and has become one of the better rebounders in the NBA, but it's coming at the expense of his offensive game.

Forum.. Please stop excusing Ayton's affability, gregarious nature.
He's been awful, dis-engaged against more physical big men.
Just like his rook year. I've seen little to no progression in his game.

7 footer who shy's away from contact in the NBA?
7 footer setting screens then lost in the offense. ( 2 different coaches now!) every freakin' game...

Blaming him for who he is? The Suns didn’t have to draft him... Our disdain should be directed at McD.

Before writing Ayton off, put a real power forward next to Ayton, and then see what happens...

It's come out nationally that Sarver wanted Ayton and McDonough wanted Luka (which is why he hired Luka's coach). Sarver overruled that and overruled McDonough trading for Shai

Then fired him for not drafting a PG when he wouldn't let him draft a PG. It's sad

Haven’t heard or seen that. The Shai stuff I have seen from Gambo.

Admitting I was wrong on Luka (as I thought he had more red flags than Ayton), if those reports are true, perhaps McDonough WAS a better GM than James Jones. If that's the case, the next 5 years could be even worse than the last 5 years...

"I've been dying to play the 4."

"What motivates you after the first contract?"

0 FTs

Bad D

Idiocy getting suspended in his second season.

when someone shows you who they are, believe them.

I believe they totally blew that pick. A crushing blow to the team finally getting the number 1 pick, in a loaded draft and coming away with Looks Like Tarzan Plays Like Jane.

A lineup that would score a ton of points and play zero defense

Actually, Shai is a pretty good defender. Still very upset they traded the Miami pick for another wing instead of Shai that draft, no matter what becomes of Bridges.

Can't take all the wrist-slitting on the Suns board. I'm not happy where we're at either, but we're a better team. We'll be fine.

as opposed to this lineup... that can't score a ton of points and plays zero defense. at least one side of the court would have been taken care of. especially if the reports were correct that McD's plan was to take Luka and then make a big offer to Clint Capella who would actually be an anchor down low.

Yep he wanted to max Capella. Nice follow up
