Great List.... I would also strongly consider WR Parker, DL Shelton, DE Armstead and OLB Odighizuwa..... But it's hard to bump anyone out

This is not about who will be picked ahead. Most of the top 20 will be picked ahead of your pick. All you need is for one of those 20 to fall to your pick. It's about the top 20 players for the Cardinals board(.)

I think Shelton is top 20, just not for the Cardinals. They don't want to burn a 1st on another spot player, imo. If they do that it will be for an OLB at first. They reup Williams or fill NT through FA.

All the others you mention are legit as well. I strongly considered Marcus Peters as well. He could be a top 10 talent.

This isn't how I think they'll be drafted but it would be top 20 players:
1- Leonard Williams
2- Jameis Winston

5- Dante Fowler
6- Randy Gregory
7- Kevin White
8- Danny Shelton
9- Marcus Mariota(even though I wouldn't touch him)
10- Landon Collins
11- Brandon Scherff
12- Ereck Flowers
13- Dorial Green-Beckham
14- Todd Gurley
15- Davante Parker
16- Trae Waynes
17- Vic Beasley

Of course. His comment made it seem like the 2 QBs aren't in the top 20. Or least both of them aren't.

Thanks. Things will change once FA shakes out. I wanted to get a feel of some of the posters favorites. Green-Beckham looks to be getting some love among many posters. What attracts you about Hunters game tape? What do you think about Andrus Peat?

With Peat, I like him but I don't think the Cards are going to draft an OT early. Scherff is on the list only because he's the top rated OT and he'd have to be in consideration as BPA regardless of not looking at OT. Scherff and Erving, because of his ability to play C, are the only 2 OL I have on the list.

As for Hunter, he brings prototype size and athleticism to the position. He's young and plays hard but just need more technique. Here's a post combine write up from CBS Big Board that now has him in the top 30:

25. LSU DE Danielle Hunter, 6-5, 252, 4.57, Jr: He sports a lanky build, but is surprisingly strong at the point of attack and uses his length and lateral agility very well to harass quarterbacks -- rushing after them or batting down passes at the line of scrimmage (he knocked down three passes vs. Alabama, for example). Like many pass rushers on this list, Hunter is a work in progress but his exciting skill-set and the value of his position in today's NFL could push him into the first round.

I thought Scherf is now rated as a guard and I question Hunter becoming a factor in the NFL.He did not produce numbers in college so why think he will up his game versus better competition? Just don`t see it.

Let's see what Hunter does with NFL coaching. He's not a lock to produce but he did lead LSU in tackles for loss and had 73 tackles last year. So it's not like he didn't do anything.

Here an excerpt that from NFL.com that I think fits Hunter to a tee:

Hunter's floor is high thanks to his overwhelming physical traits and motor, but his ceiling will only go as high as the level of coaching he is able to incorporate.

Which is huge! So much about the success of these rookie PROSPECTS depends on how much they can absorb between the ears. It's what really separates OK from great in sports and so many areas of life in general.

It's what makes the whole process so challenging. We see their instincts primarily in the games themselves, but many can just overwhelm their opponents with pure physicality.

But you can really see on D those who are around the ball ALL the time. There's a reason for that.

Shaq Thompson is one who comes to mind. We really need to look closely at him.

Kendricks is another.

Ok the way I figure it 1 through 11 will be gone, so with that said I would go with Dupree. But I am driving the Bud Dupree express. It also wouldn't surprise me to see 18 or 19 of those player gone when we pick at 24. Then I would look at the Jordan Phillips, Dorial Green-Beckham, or Owamagbe Odighizuwa.

If the OSLB that Ba covets is not there it would not bother me to see a trade down as long as it wasn't out of the first round. If they did that I think they would be targeting Arik Armstead or Benardrick McKinney.
