Still no announcement on this? It’s a bummer Vasso said no. Weird that he would turn down a promotion. I wonder if the Texans offered him more money than us just to stay? If so that’s a testament to how cheap MB is.
Cheap? He is OK with paying for 3 coaches at once. Not cheap, just misguided.Still no announcement on this? It’s a bummer Vasso said no. Weird that he would turn down a promotion. I wonder if the Texans offered him more money than us just to stay? If so that’s a testament to how cheap MB is.
I agree with this angle.Cheap? He is OK with paying for 3 coaches at once. Not cheap, just misguided.
He may not be as cheap as he’s made out to be on this board, but he’s still cheap.Cheap? He is OK with paying for 3 coaches at once. Not cheap, just misguided.
What difference does it make, as long as most of the coaches are on board by the end of this week? Better to be thorough and get the right people imo.And the joke franchise continues. It's really nice to know we have our staff fully assembled so the team can come together, have time to get to know one another and work closely with the GM and scouting staff to ensure a solid FA strategy that dovetails with the draft.
Oh wait...
freaking idiots.
This - two things can be true at the same time...the Cardinals can be cheap AND misguided. He may not be as cheap as he’s made out to be on this board, but he’s still cheap.
We paid JG like 5 mil a year…A contract around 25 million over 5 years. He let Sean Payton walk out the door to get 85-90 million over 5 years from the Broncos, and they gave up a 1st & 2nd rd pick to get him.
The narrative is definitely out there - from making players pay for their own meals to being one of the few NFL teams that don’t have a president assisting the owner and GM.
Penny-wise, pound-foolish.Cheap? He is OK with paying for 3 coaches at once. Not cheap, just misguided.
Well thats not because he's cheap its because hes very controllingHe may not be as cheap as he’s made out to be on this board, but he’s still cheap.

I always laugh when you ban someone and say 'enjoy your week off"....because they're banned and can't read it...lolTime out given. Ban bannity ban ban bannity banban. Enjoy your week off.
The combine is like 2 weeks away and we don’t have coaches in place to tell the GM what they think they need to win.And the joke franchise continues. If we had a track record of success as a franchise this would and should be the attitude. What difference does it make, as long as most of the coaches are on board by the end of this week? Better to be thorough and get the right people imo.
And that's why they can enjoy the week....because they can't read about the futile discussions here.I always laugh when you ban someone and say 'enjoy your week off"....because they're banned and can't read it...lol
That would require a coach that knows how to scheme. We havne’t had those for almost a decade. All I want for Christmas is a defense that can apply pressure with just the front 4.
Unfortunately we got visited by the Ghost of Christmas Has Never Been and Never Will BeAll I want for Christmas is a defense that can apply pressure with just the front 4.
That's not how it's reading to me. It has human snail vibes and that's not good. We're already late and these discussions about FA and the draft (FA especially) have been happening already, so yeah, well behind the 8-ball.What difference does it make, as long as most of the coaches are on board by the end of this week? Better to be thorough and get the right people imo.

I hate it here
I'd settle for 5 man rushAll I want for Christmas is a defense that can apply pressure with just the front 4.
Wouldn't think it matters. Scouts attend and turn in reports and MO and his staff match up the scouting reports with what the coaches want. Now, that's assuming our coaching staff is in place before the Draft. The combine is like 2 weeks away and we don’t have coaches in place to tell the GM what they think they need to win.

Sean Payton was never coming here. We don't know what he was offered here but you can bet they beat it.He may not be as cheap as he’s made out to be on this board, but he’s still cheap.

Are they getting the right people? Or are they getting the right people that's left over..... from the left overs that are left over from the people who got the right people? What difference does it make, as long as most of the coaches are on board by the end of this week? Did you ban BOTH???Time out given. Ban bannity ban ban bannity banban. Enjoy your week off.
No. Warnings were given to both. One did not heed the warnings.Did you ban BOTH???
