He's not immature but he's labeled as a Cali guy. He has that laid back California attitude. It's funny, Cali Guy is a term scouts use. It's not necessarily a bad thing but he's likely not going to be a team captain or anything like that.
No dog in him? Cali guys don't have that dog.

I’m not drafting a guy with a torn patellar tendon in the 1st round. Hell nah.

ugh. didnt realize that was the injury. those dont have the best outcomes for players

Apparently Nic Scourton visited with the Cards. Rob Rang who is a fairly decent talent evaluator listed him as the Cards 1st round choice. They surely could trade down and still get him if it’s true.

He has that nasty competitor streak which I think Gannon would love about him. But I would put him behind both Nolen and Stewart, realizing they play different positions. But compared to BJ when he was in the draft? Scourton is a superior prospect. IMO.

If we stay at 16, or even with a trade, we should be in a position to add a vg player to our roster. I've seen so many players mocked to Arizona, my head is spinning, but I have confidence in Monti/Sears. And, I feel good with FA and the Draft that we'll go into the RS thinking that we have a good shot at making the playoffs.

With the potential talent available at 16 it’s highly probable we trade down a few spots.

Those picking after us will likely want a particular player setting the table for adding an additional pick in the 3 round.

I do embrace this path unless their is a specific player we want then take him at 16 and don’t fret it.

I think we're at a point where we don't need more picks. We just have to make the correct pick.

I’m thinking in this draft you can get both.

Rounds 1-3 three should produce at minimum good cheap depth at several positions.

I would like 4 picks in the first three rounds this year especially.
